The death occurred peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital, Charlottetown, on Saturday, March 6, 2021, with her loving
family by her side, of Cheryl Marie LeClair, of Union Road,
Charlottetown, age 53 years. Born at Alberton on April 23, 1967, she
was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (nee Gallant) LeClair,
formerly of Tignish.
Cheryl loved life and wanted to be loved by everyone she met.
She soften the hearts of all that knew her. She loved music and loved
doing chores on the farm of her sister, Mae, and her husband Jerry,
where she resided.
She will be sadly missed ber her siblings, Roberta Blacquiere
of Charlottetown, Elaine Stordy of Charlottetown, Susan Casford of
Charlottetown, Ronnie LeClair of Charlottetown, Linda LeClair (David
Warren) of Charlottetown, Mae (Jerry) Vloet of Union, PEI, Angela
LeClair of Moncton, NB, Floyd LeClair of Charlottetown and Rachael
LeClair (deceased). She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews
and cousins, especially nieces, Julia Oulette and Shante Peddle and
their children, Caius, Arya, Rosie and Tessa, and by dear friends,
Dora and Peter Vloet.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for
private family visitation on Monday, March 8th, for invited guests,
from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., then to St. Simon and St. Jude
Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 2:30 p.m., Rev. John Molina,
Celebrant.
Interment later in the church cemetery. As an expression of
sympathy memorials to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund would be
gratefully appreciated by the family.
The funeral will be lived-streamed on the St. Simon and St.
Jude Facebook page on Monday afternoon, March 8th, starting at 2:30
p.m.
