The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Monday, February 22, 2021, of Helen Levina Wells, of Alberton, age 86 years. Born at Northport, PEI, on August 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Catherine (nee Gavin) Wells. Dear aunt of Shawnna McLean of Alberton, Norma Costain of Kensington, Reggie (Shelly) McLean of Tyne Valley, Lisa McLean of Summerside, Danny McLean of Ottawa, ON, and Ernie McLean of Edmonton, AB. She is also survived by greatnieces, greatnephews and cousins. 

She was predeceased by her partner, Eugene Fraser, brothers, Raymond Wells and Joseph (late Irene) McLean, and nieces, Cathy, Frances and Gail.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for a private family visitation on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., then to the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for a private family funeral mass at 3:30 p.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, celebrant. Interment later in the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
