The death occurred peacefully at the palliative care unit of the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, with his loving wife and family by his side, of Howard Joseph Perry of Hogan Road, Tignish, age 74 years. Beloved husband to Linda Marie (nee Perry) Perry. Born at Tignish Shore, PEI, on October 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Arthur T. and Rose Mary (nee Dugay) Perry.

Dear father to Stacy Spohn (Darrell) of Spruce Grove Alberta, and Darcy (Bethany) Perry of Charlottetown. Cherished grandfather to Emily Rose Huebel, Isabelle, Gaby, Sofia, Gus and Tessa. Dear brother to Leo (Gail) Perry of Tignish, Freddie (Wanda) Perry of Anglo, Ann Marie (Ralph) Clark of New Dominion, Bertha Perry of Argyle Shore and Elizabeth MacDougall of Argyle Shore. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Elaine Perry of Tignish, and a brother-in-law, Dave Burke of Charlottetown. He was predeceased by siblings, Virginia Burke, Tommy, Cedric and Willie and by a brother in law Ken MacDougall.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for private visitation Friday evening for family and invited guests from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A private family funeral mass for family and invited guests will be held on Saturday morning, January 16, 2021, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. John Molina, celebrant. Interment later in the church cemetery.
