The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital,
Alberton, on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, with her loving family by
her side, of Romaine Olive MacLean, of Beaton Road, West Devon, PEI,
age 88 years. Born at Foxley River on May 8, 1932, she was
the daughter of the late Gabriel and Annie M. (nee Milligan)
Bulger.
Lovingly remembered by her children: Marion (Wayne) MacDonald
of Alaska, Shirley Poulton of West Devon, Stewart (Moira) of York, ON,
Linda (Roy) Lewis of Cascumpec, and Loman MacLean of Cascumpec. She is
also survived by a daughter-in-law, Donna MacLean of
Coleman. She will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and
by her 19 great-grandchildren. She also survived by Mary Law and
Yvonne MacNeill, both of Toronto, who were raised as
sisters.
She was predeceased by her son, Harold MacLean, and by
siblings, Agatha Sharpe, Dorothy Boylan, Albina Bulger, Adeline
Barlow, Agnes Barlow, Jessie Stewart, Loretta Bridges, Wanda McNeill,
Gertrude Grant, Gloria Culleton, Rebecca Cann, Harold Bulger, Lawrence
Bulger and Leo Bulger, and by two daughters in infancy.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for
a private family visitation on Thursday evening. A graveside service
to take place on Saturday, November 28th at 2:00 p.m., at the West
Devon United Church Cemetery, with Rev. Robert Lockhart
officiating.
As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Canadian
Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated.
