The death occurred suddenly, at her home in Charlottetown, on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, of Mary Lorraine Sherren of Green Street, Charlottetown, age 78 years. Born at Tignish, on June 29, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and Mary Jane (nee Gaudet) Martin.

Loving mother to Joey Sherren of Charlottetown, Brenda Sherren of Ontario, Arthur Sherren of Newfoundland, Rennie (Michelle) Sherren of Ontario. She is survived by seven loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Melvina (Delsie) DesRoches, Frank (Mary) Martin,Norma (Al) McWilliam, Linda (Ted) Myers, Elmer (Muriel) Martin, Brenda (Buddy) Pitre, Ernest Martin, and Stewart (Jane) Martin.

She was predeceased by a sister Ilma (Martin) Hagen on April 21, 2020.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Private visiting hours for invited guest Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. then to St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for a private family funeral mass at 2:00 p.m., Rev. John Molina, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
