The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, November 2, 2020, of Phyllis Elizabeth Lewis, beloved wife of William Leigh Lewis of Cascumpec, aged 89 years. Born at Nappan, NS, on February 17, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Sarah (nee Simpson) Boss.

Loving mother of Wayne Lewis, Cascumpec, Sharon (John) Nicholson, Charlottetown, Kenneth (Darlene) Lewis, Cascumpec, Carolyn Lewis-Fox, Stratford, and Gerald (Tiffany) Lewis, Perth ON. Cherished grandmother of Zane, Julia, Eric, Stephen, Cheryl, Abbygale, Samantha and Andrew. Loving great-grandmother of Madison, Kamden, Carter, Silas and Alexis. Dear sister of Ronald (Linda) Boss of Nappan, NS, and Ormond (Audrey) Boss, Amherst, NS.  

She was predeceased by siblings, Muriel Dares, Alma Parlee, Milton Boss, Cedric Boss, Oral Boss and Derrald Boss.

Resting and the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for private visitation for family and close friends, on Thursday afternoon from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Funeral Friday afternoon from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel at 1 p.m., Rev. Robert Lockhart officiating. Interment in the Cascumpec United Church Cemetery. 

As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Western Hospital Equipment Fund or Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
