The death occurred peacefully, at his home, on Sunday, May 10, 2020, with the love and support of his loving wife and family, of Darrell Robert (Daryl) Milligan, beloved husband and companion to Michelle Marie (nee Peters) Milligan of Northport, age 58 years. Born at Alberton on January 21, 1962, he was the cherished son of Velda M. (nee Smith) and the late Wyman P. Milligan. Loving father to Kelsey (Justin Schurman) of New Annan and Kalyn (Devon Bernard) of Northport. Cherished grandfather to Adeline and Harvey, whom he loved dearly.

Dear brother to Philip (Frances) of St. Peters Bay; Patsy (Bill) Pegg of Summerside; Susan (late Donnie) Adams of Alberton; Donna (Lonnie) MacIsaac of O'Leary; Joyce (late Paul) O'Connor of Cascumpec; Dennis (Karen) of Northport; and Irene (Glenn) Coughlin of Fortune Cove. He  will be sadly missed by his father and mother-in-law, Gerard and Joanne (nee Perry) Peters, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, Gordon (Janet) Peters of North Enmore; Jon (Candace) Peters of Strathmore, Alberta, and Chris Peters of Calgary. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and his two fur babies, Lexi and Princess.

He was predeceased by his father, Wyman, niece, Nicole Robertson, nephew, Matthew MacIsaac, and sister-in-law, Jennifer Peters.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Due to the COVID-19 there will be no visiting hours. A private family graveside interment to take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Alberton.
