Peacefully at the Western Hospital in Alberton on Friday, June 19, 2015, with his family by his side, of Philip Eugene Kenny, of Northport, aged 64 years. Beloved husband of Wilhelmina (nee Skerry) Kenny. Born at Alberton on October 3, 1950, he was the son of the late Edward and Dora (nee Myers) Kenny. Loving father to Jeremy (Jody) of Kildare, and cherished grandfather of Jedd. Dear brother to: Claire (Bob) Groomsbridge, of Thunder Bay, Ontario; Pat, of Tignish; Terry (Gladys), of Waterford; June (late Ernest) Watterson, of Tignish; John (Ruth), of Alberton; Joe (Shirley), of Tignish; Barbara (Stewart) McRae, of Point Prim; and Jean (Dave) Willcock, of Palmer Road. He is also survived by brothers and sister-in-law: Hillary (Lennie) Skerry, of Alberton; Edward (Trudy) Skerry, of Cascumpec; and Anne (late Clifford) Skerry, of Alberton. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Kenny. 

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, for visiting hours Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 and on Monday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral Monday afternoon from the Sacred Heart Church, for funeral mass at 3 p.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, Celebrant.  Interment in the church cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Western Hospital Equipment Fund or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
