Peacefully at the Stewart Memorial Home, Tyne Valley, with her family by her side, on Thursday, April 2, 2015, of Vera Helen Murray, formerly of the Rev. W.J. Phillips Residence, Alberton, and of Piusville, age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Warburton Murray. Born at Elmsdale on March 23, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Barnett.

Loving mother to Kevin (Jean) of Summerside, and Whitney (Faye) of Rosebank. Cherished grandmother to Kelly Dawn Oliver, Whitney Williams, Derek Williams, Heather Murray, Janet Sharpe, Jennifer Murray, Christina Murray Arsenault, Charlotte Kang, Rachel Childs and Sarah Costain. She is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and George Williams, and by siblings, William, Frederick, Arthur, Leonard, Harold, Minnie, Ida, Edna and Ruby.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral on Saturday morning, April 4, 2015, from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Alberton, at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Andrew Mortimer officiating. Interment later in St. Peter's Cemetery.
