At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, February 19, 2015, with his loving family by his side, of Raymond Joseph Martin, of St. Roch, P.E.I., age 95 years. Born at St. Roch, P.E.I, on January 23, 1920, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (nee Arsenault) Martin. Beloved husband to Beatrice (nee LeClair) Martin.

Lovingly remembered by his children: Jeanette Harper, of Tignish; Shirley (Cletus) Harper, of Tignish; Paul (Linda), of Alberton; Carmella (Ernest) Pitre, of St. Felix; Norma Ratcliffe (Bill Sleeth), of Saint John, N.B; Edward (Dorothy), of St. Roch; LeRoy (Christine), of St. Roch; Rosie (Donald) Waite, of St. Roch; Elaine (John) Kinch, of Palmer Road; and Cecilia (Floyd) Shea, of North Cape. He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Gail Martin, of Charlottetown, his sister, Bea Hudson, of Massachusetts, U.S.A., and by a sister-in-law, Rena Martin, of Charlottetown. He will be sadly missed by his 24, grandchildren, 30, great-grandchildren, and by one great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by son Melvin, daughter Anita, son-in-law, James Harper, and his brother and sisters, Aubin, Melvina and Frances, as well as his mother and father-in-law, Peter and Ermine LeClair.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment later in the Church Cemetery.
