At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, with her loving family by her side, of Jean Marie Murphy, beloved wife of the late Donald (Joe) Murphy  of Union, P.E.I., age 68 years. Born at Arichat, Cape Breton, N.S., on January 24, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Anita (nee Landry) Doyle and foster daughter of the late Joe and Bridget Boudreau of Nova Scotia.

Loving mother to John and daughter-in-law Pam of Brampton, Ontario, Kenny and daughter-in-law Laura of Brampton, Ontario. Caring grandmother to Mitchell and Craig. Dear sister to Roy (Shelia) Doyle, Hubert (Lorraine) Doyle, Earl (Judy) Doyle, all of Cape Breton, and foster sister Ina Landry of Nova Scotia. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl (Jean) Murphy of  Pleasant View, Josey Breau of Boston, Mass., Leonard (Christine) of Mill River, Sue of Toronto and Flo of Miscouche.

Predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Lima Murphy of Alma, brothers-in-law: Russell Murphy, Frank Murphy, Richard (late Marie) Murphy. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No visiting hours by personal request. Funeral on Saturday morning from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, Celebrant. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
