At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, November 24, 2014, of Clifford Joseph Perry, beloved husband of Barbara (nee Perry) Perry, of Nail Pond, age 72 years. Born at Tignish Shore on April 29, 1942, he was the son of the late Celin (nee Perry) Arenault and grandson of the late Mary Rose and Jerome Perry, who raised him as a son. Dear father of Kenneth (Louanne) of St. Felix; Sandra Perry (Ronnie McCue) of Tignish; Adam of Dryton Valley, Alberta. Loving grandfather to April, Noah, Kenny, Tori and Cole. Great grandfather to Xena.

He is also survived by siblings: Alyre (Sheila) of Fredericton, N.B.; Andre (Pearl) of New Annan; Judy (Wyman) of Fredericton, N.B.; Alfred of Summerside; Lucy of Summerside; Alphonse (Noreen) of Summerside; Arthur (Veronica) of Summerside; and Alban (Cathy) of Summerside. He is also survived by his aunt Doris Perry and uncle Henry Perry of Tignish Seniors Coop Home, as well as his sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn (David) Gaudet of Myricks Shore; Carol Ann (Junior) Bernard of Nail Pond; Stella (Marcel) Carragher of Miminegash; Cecilia (Rickey) Aylward of Skinners Pond; Joanne (Doug) Doucette of St. Felix; Brenda (Carl) O'Brien of Ascension; Rose Marie (Wayne) Gaudet of Tignish; Lorraine (Leonard) Gallant of Milton, Ont.; Julia (Blair) LeClair of Tignish; Johnny (Marsha) Perry of Nail Pond; Jimmy (Jodi) Perry of Nail Pond; Wayne (Sonya) Perry of Nail Pond; and Wanita (Melvin) Gallant of Christophers Cross.

He was predeceased by by his aunt Margaret and by uncles, Aubain, Anthony, Alphonse, John and Edmund.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Thursday from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
