At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, August 29,
2014, with his family by his side, of Wyman Phillip Milligan, beloved
husband to Velda (nee Smith) Milligan of Alberton, age 83 years. Born
at Conway, P.E.I., on November 19, 1930, he was the son of the late
William and Lillian (nee Gain) Milligan.
Lovingly remembered by his children: Pat (Bill) Pegg of
Summerside; Philip (Frances) Milligan of St. Peter's Bay; Susan
(Donnie) Adams of Elmsdale; Donna (Lonnie) MacIsaac of O'Leary; Joyce
(Paul) O'Connor of Fortune Cove; Daryl (Michelle) Milligan of
Northport; Dennis (Karen) Milligan of Northport; and Irene (Glenn)
Coughlin of O'Leary. He will be sadly missed by his 17 grandchildren
and by his nine great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by siblings, Bernice Ramsay of Calgary;
Frank (Josephine) Milligan of St. Peter's Bay and Joyce MacKinnon of
Stratford. Also surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law, Hanson
(Myrtle) Smith of Alberton; Francis (Anna) Smith of Alberton; William
Smith of O'Leary, Shirley Milligan of Moncton,N.B. and Etta Milligan
of Truro N.S.. He was predeceased by grandchildren, Nicole Robertson,
Matthew MacIsaac and Nathan Chaisson. He was also predeceased by
siblings, Foster, Elmer, Charles, and Sterling, as well by brothers
and sisters-in-law, Ivan Smith, Erskine Smith, Reg MacKinnon, Edna
Milligan, Marjorie Milligan.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. Visiting hours
Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday morning from the
Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m., Rev.
Arthur Pendergast, Celebrant. Interment in the Church
cemetery.

Cemetery Fund or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be
