Peacefully at the Western Hospital Alberton, on Monday, July 28, 2014, with his family by his side, of Earl Joseph (Junior) McRae, of Tignish, age 82 years. Born at Tignish, on January 20, 1932, he was the son of the late Earl and Susan (nee Fennessey) McRae. He was predeceased by his loving wife Esther McRae. Loving remembered by his daughter Joan of Ajax, Ont., and son Gary (Penney) of Anglo, Tignish. Loving grandfather to Heidi, Robyn, Marcie,and Calvin. He is also survived by his brother Seymour (Mary) of Pickering, Ont., and by his sister Cora ( Late Glen) Caldwell of Dartmouth, N.S., as well as sisters-in-law, Marie McRae of Tignish, Carmella McRae of Kildare Capes, and Violet McRae of Bedford, N.S. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Chester, Kenneth, Harold, Claude, Violet, Roy and Elmer.

Resting at the Rooney Funerral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday July 30th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and on Thursday from noon until time of funeral. Funeral Thursday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, with funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
