At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, of Mary Elizabeth Kinch, beloved wife of Phillip John (Pip) Kinch of Northport, P.E.I., in her 89th year. Born in Halifax, N.S. on March 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Ethel (nee Hunt) Webb. 

Lovingly remembered by her children: Robert of Northport; Jerry (Leah) of St. Felix; Michael (Jacinta) of South Kildare; Roland (Linda) of Mill River East; Wally (Norma) of Edmonton, Alberta; and Bradley (Eileen) of Alberton. She will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and by her 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Mildred Hamm of Halifax, and by her brother and sisters-in-law, Michael Kinch Sr. of Alberton, Edie MacDonnell of Halifax and Vivian Lundy of Mississauga, Ontario. She was predeceased by daughters, Kay Flynn and Mary in infancy, and her by siblings, Walter, Welsford, George, Fred, Edie Tanner, Marion Phillips, and Ethel Ferguson.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral on Saturday, February 22, 2014, from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton with funeral mass at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Chris Sherrin, Celebrant. Interment later in the parish cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Children's Wish Foundation or to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
