Peacefully at Montreal, Quebec, on Thursday, June 6, 2013, after a long and wonderful life, of Margaret (Peggy) Jane (nee McCarthy) Coffin, beloved wife of the late Dudley Coffin, age 97 years. Born at Brockton, P.E.I. on July 14, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Angelina (nee O'Meara) McCarthy. She will be sadly missed by daughter Leah (Paul) Guay, and grandsons, Christopher and Michael. She is  survived by two brothers and one sister, Louis  McCarthy of Brockton, Arch (Helen) McCarthy of Charlottetown, and Mary Butler of Glenngarry. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Georgia Collum, Charlie, Gerrard, James, and cousin Albert Brown, who was raised like a brother. She will always be remembered for her kind and loving ways and love of family.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday, June 14th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday morning, June 15th from St. Marks Church, Burton, Lot 7 for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Chris Sherren celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired memorials to St. Marks Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
