Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, June 6, 2013, surrounded by the love and support of her family, age 66. Loving wife of the late William (Billy) Waite. Born in Pictou, NS, June 12, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Maisie Patriquin and the late Annie and Osborne Langille. Cherished mother of Tracey (Paul) Marchand, loving Nan of Vanessa, Travis and Kelsey. Dear sister to a special brother Gary MacKenzie (Pictou, NS), Lenny (Ann), David, Robert (Marilyn) Patriquin. Dear sister of Beverly Turple, Donna Patriquin, Sandra Patriquin (Glenn) all of River John, NS.  Remembered always by a special aunt Kathleen (George) MacKenzie of Pictou, NS. Dear sister-in-law to: Dot of Riverview, NB; Alan (Nancy) of Mt. Stewart; Donnie (Joan) of St. Lawrence; Barry (Donna) of Summerside; Harold of Moncton; Wayne (Cindy) of Summerside; Melvin of Charlottetown; Sherla (Edward) Gallant of New Annan; and Lloyd (Cindy) of Summerside, also numerous nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton for visiting hours on Sunday, June 9th  from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Alberton on Monday, June 10th  at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Andrew Mortimer officiating. Interment in Bethel United Church Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the PEI Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Association would be gratefully appreciated.
