Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Thursday, April 25, 2013, of Emily Mary (Millie) Pitre of St. Peter and St. Paul, age 92 years. Born at Tignish Shore, P.E.I. on August 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Mary Catherine (nee Arsenault) Pitre. She will be sadly missed by her life long friend    Frances Richard, with whom she resided. She will be sadly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Arthur, Charles, Ben, William, John, Henry, Frank, Joseph, Adrien, Mary Arsenault and Frances, who passed away in infancy. 

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Saturday morning, April 27, 2013, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired memorials to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund or to the Church Building Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
