The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Tuesday April 9, 2013, of Anita Marie (Mary) Arsenault of Charlottetown, age 87 years. Born at Nail Pond, P.E.I. on March 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Alphy and Dorothy (nee Arsenault) Arsenault.

She is survived by her siblings: Betty (late Edgar) Gallant of Tignish; Fred (Lisa) of Midland, Ont.; George (Nelda) of Nail Pond; Phillip (Josephine) of Nail Pond; Johnny of Nail Pond; and Victor (Annie) of Crapaud. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and by sister-in-laws, Jean Firth, Eileen Arsenault, and Millie Arsenault.

She was predeceased by silbings, Guillaume (late Annie and late Fedora), Mary (late Richard Knox and late Edgar) Peters, Eddie (late Peggy), Cyril, Uldric, Andrew and Anne Marie (late Gerard) LeClair.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No visitation by personal request. A funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Albin Arsenault, Celebrant. Interment of cremains to take place in the Church Cemetery.
