<p>Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Monday, March 19, 2012, with her family by her side following a courageous battle with cancer of Maggie Karen (nee Thomas) Hilton, beloved wife of Hal Hilton of Enfield, N.S.</p>
<p>Born at Summerside, on June 16, 1954, she was the cherished daughter of Harry and Grace (nee Warren) Thomas, of Mill Road.</p>
<p>Loving mother to Wesley and his wife Heather and Kenneth and his wife Holly, both of Yellowknife. Dear sister to Linda and her husband Frank McGill of Summerside. Daughter in law to Harold and Monica Hilton of Enfield N.S. Sister in law to Maria and Phil Johns of Australia; Helen and Wayne Strickland of Enfield N.S.; Peter and Heather Hilton of Enfield N.S.; Anna Hilton of Enfield N.S.; Carolyn and Jim Smith of Enfield N.S. Dear aunt to Donovan and Ashley Johns, Janine and Joe Strickland, Josh, Connor & Ben Hilton, Nicholas Balzan and MacGillivary Smith</p> Maggie touched the lives of the many people she came in contact with. She was a volunteer with the seniors at Northwood Seniors Home Halifax,The Northwood Players and with the Northwood broadcasting.She was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church Milford N.S.
<p>Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton.Visiting hours commencing on Sunday March 25, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral on Monday from the Alberton Baptist Church for funeral service at 2;00 pm Rev.Robbie Milburn and Rev.Ross Morrison officiating. Interment to take place at the Cascumpec United Church Cemetery.
