The death occurred peacefully, at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, with his children by his side, of Bruce MacLean Horne, of Brooklyn, PEI, age 61 years. Born on August 17, 1958, he was the son of the late Laughlin M. and Delma M. (nee Peake) Horne of Alberton.

Dear father to Kenzie (Jessica) of Piusville, and Keaton of Brooklyn. Loving Grampie to Axel and Theo. Dear brother to Boyd (Ann) of Paris  ON, Heather (Bill) Touissaint of Charlottetown, Sharon Horne of Wolfville, NS, and Marion Bennett of Yarmouth, NS. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bruce worked for the Dept. of Transportation for many years and was an active member of the PEI Union of Public Sector Employees.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. By personal request there  will be no visitation or funeral. Bruce considered his time at the River as his last good-bye.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date and time.
