The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, of Vonley Duff Cooper of Conway, PE, aged 77 years. Beloved husband to Lillian May (nee Coughlin) Cooper. Born at Deer Lake, Newfoundland, on March 14, 1942, he was the son of the late Herbert and Winnifred (nee Fancy) Cooper.

Loving father to Anne (Steve Deceased) Tsicos of Barrie, Ont., Susan (Sheldon) DeWolfe of Angus, Ont., Darlene Cooper (William Troup) of Grimsby, Ont., Angel (Mike) Magee of Brampton, Ont., Darrell (Lorraine) Cooper of Hamilton, Ont., and Duff (Michelle) Cooper of Brampton, Ont. He will be sadly missed by his 13 grandchildren, Anthony, Tommy and Stephanie Tsicos, Ryder and Rayne Smith, Chantelle Troup, Keysha and Jayda Cooper, Ashley Fowler and Shawn Magee, and Vonley, James and Ireland Cooper, his four great-grandchildren, Robyn and Michael Chin, and Scarlett and Austin Fowler, and by his nieces nephews and friends. Dear brother to Monty Cooper of Deer Lake, Newfoundland.

He was predeceased by siblings, Herbert, Gayle and Cynthia.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. No visiting hours by personal request. Funeral Friday morning, November 22, 2019, from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Foxley River, at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Anne Bush officiating. Interment later in the Bideford United Church Cemetery.
