The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Thursday, July 18, 2019, of Alfreda Mary Corcoran, formerly of Piusville, PEI, age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Norbert Corcoran, who predeceased her in 2006. Born at Roseville, PEI, on August 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Bernice (nee Griffin) Kelly.

Lovingly remembered by her children, Angela (Colin) Arsenault of Tignish; Jacinta (Bruce) Gilbert of South Africa; Geordie (Joyce) of Sault Ste Marie, ON; Joe (Gerri) of South Rustico, Aden (Marie) of Dorchester, ON; Paul (Dotty) of Harrington, PEI; Kelly (Nancy) of Piusville; Boyd (Sheila) of Alexandra, PEI; and Edwin (Tanya) of Moncton. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, as well as her sister, Noreen Rooney of Charlottetown and sister-in-law, Carrie Kelly of Brockton. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and acquantances,

She was predeceased by her husband, Norbert, daughters, Karen and Norberta (late Ralph) Weatherbie, son Ian, siblings, Claude, Keith, Necy Murphy, Mary Cain, and by a daughter-in-law, Lise Melanson.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday, July 22, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday morning from St. Anthony's Church, Woodstock, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Danny Wilson, Celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.

St. Anthony's Council of the CWL will hold a prayer vigil at the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:30 p.m.
