The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on
Monday, February 18, 2019, of Wilna Jean Warren, beloved wife of the
late Norman N. Warren, formerly on Montrose, P.E.I. age 85
years. Born at Alma, PEI on August 27, 1933, she
was the daughter of the late David L. and Minerva (nee Horne)
Gordon.
Loving mother to Alan (Wendy) of Montrose and Marlene Warren
(Vernon Phillips) of O'Leary. Loving grandmother to Melanie
Champion, Marilee Reeves (Eustace), Jeana Barbour (Rodney), John
MacLeod (Courtney), Damien Arsenault (Megan), Meghan Warren (Scott),
Mitchell Warren (Emily). She is also survived by her seven
great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her
sister-in-law, Ferne Gordon of Alma, and by her many nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings, Grace (late Elmer) Hamill,
Kenneth (late Evelyn & late Mary) Gordon, Willard Gordon,
Blanche (late Jack) Clark, Alton (late Martha) Gordon, and Robert
(Bobby) Gordon. She was also predeceased by brothers and
sisters-in-law, Gordon (late Blanche) Warren, William (late Marion)
Warren, and Hilton Hardy.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton.
Visiting hours Thursday evening 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Friday
morning from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m., Rev.
Lynn McKinnon-Pike officiating.
Interment later in the Montrose United Church Cemetery. As an
expression of sympathy memorials to the Montrose United Church
Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
