The death occurred at the Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Sunday, February 3, 2019, of Dorothy Margaret Hennessey of the Rev. W.J. Phillips Residence, Alberton, age 97 years. Born at Borden, PEI, on March 11, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William Edward Hennessey of Cape Travers and Mary Maude (nee MacDougall) Hennessey of  Grand River.

She is survived by her cousins and friends and by her Phillips Residence family.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday morning from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, Celebrant.

Interment later in the church cemetery.
