The death occurred suddenly at Charlottetown, on Saturday, December 29, 2018, of Shawn Elmer McCormick, formerly of Alberton age 45 years. Cherished son of Elmer J. McCormick of Huntley and Leslye (David) (nee Hardy) Albert of Alberton.

Beloved brother to Mark, and uncle to Dakota McCormick of Saint John, N.B. Dear grandson to Leslie C. and the late Jessie Bell (nee Baglole) Hardy (predeceased December 28, 2018) and the late Howard and Edna (nee Gallant) McCormick. Dear nephew to Colleen (Ronnie) O'Halloran, Nora (Frank) McNalley, Doris (Junior) Doucette, Everett (Marlene) McCormick, Kaye (Alfred) Gallant, Ross McCormick and John Mills. He will be sadly missed by his many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by twin brothers Todd and Peter, and by aunts, Millie Deagle and Florrie Mills.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Private family visitation. Funeral mass on Friday, January 4, 2019, from the Immaculate Conception Church, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
