The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, February 16, 2018, with his loving family by his side, of John Kevin (Johnny) LeClair, of Nail Pond, PEI, aged 64 years. Beloved husband to Debbie (nee Bernard) LeClair. Born at Alberton on September 11, 1953, he was the son of the late Claude and Winnifred (nee McInnis) LeClair.

Dear father to Darryl (Natalie) of Summerside, Josh (Shania) of Swan Hills, AB, and loving grandfather to Jenna, Jacey, Lucas, and Hailey. Dear brother to JoAnne Aylward of Alberton, Linda Wells of Tignish, Sheila (Edward) Bernard of Tignish, Aggie (Warren) MacKay of Tignish, Beverley LeClair (late Jimmy Gillis) of DeBlois, Blair (Julia) of Tignish, and Joey (Donna) of Tignish. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Elaine (late Raymond) Bernard of Tignish, and by brother and sisters-in-law, Albert (Sheila) Bernard of Hamilton, ON, Robert (Sue Anne) Bernard of Nail Pond, Irene (David) Perry of Nail Pond and Shelley (Gary) Vessey of Medicine Hat, AB. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.

He was predeceased by brothers Harold and Wayne, and by brothers-in-law, Ronald Bernard and George Connick.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment later in the church cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorials to St. Simon and St. Jude Restoration Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
