The death occurred peacefully at her home, on Sunday, January 28, 2018, with her loving family by her side, of Patricia Mildred (Peggy) Ellsworth, beloved wife of Morigan Ellsworth of St. Louis, age 72 years. Born at Campbellton, P.E.I. on July 27, 1945, she was the daughter of Bertha (nee Gaudin) of O'Leary and the late Justin McCarthy.

Loving mother to Rodney of Tignish, Darlene (George) of St. Louis, Rosalie (Ronald) of St. Louis, and Andy (Sheryl) of Miminegash. 

She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Crystal, Jenny, Brett, Nathan, Tori, Sarah-Lee, Tanner, Shey-Lee and Cole,  and by her great-grandchildren, Dawsyn, Cole, D-Jay, Savanah and Dustin. 

Dear sister to Joanne (Pat) Bernard of Hamilton, Ont., Sandra (A.J.) Wood of Charlottetown, Mary (Eric) Perry of St. Louis, Charlie (Helen) McCarthy of Campbellton, Norman (Andrea)McCarthy of Hamilton Ont, Hazel Richard of Alberton and Jean (Clarence) Clements of Campbellton.

She was predeceased by a grandchild in infancy, and by siblings, Stella, Joe, Reg, Betty and Irene.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday morning from the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
