The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Sunday, December 10, 2017, of Lawrence Joseph Richard, of Sain't Louis, PEI, age 82 years. Born at Sain't Louis, on October 20, 1935, he was the son of the late John P. and Edith M. (nee Blanchard) Richard.

Dear brother to Francis and his wife Lucille, of St. Louis, Guillaume and his wife Florence, of St. Louis, and Adrian, of St. Catherines, ON. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Fidele and Aubin and by half sister and brothers, Emma, Isadore, Paul and Felix.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for visiting hours Tuesday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Wednesday morning from the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
