The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, with his loving family by his side, of William Lester (Billy) Wallace, of Alberton, age 78 years. Beloved husband of 57 years to Betty Lou (nee Locke) Wallace. Born at Cascumpec on August 22, 1939, he was the son of the late Elmer and Lela (nee Leard) Wallace.

Loving father to Pauline (Ivan) Tomadini, of Ontario, David (Sheila), of Summerside.

Dear brother to Henry (late Velma) Wallace, of Cascumpec and Helen (Allan) Wallace, of Elmsdale. He will be sadly missed by his two special children, Elliot and Shannon Watters, who he considered as grandchildren. He is also survived by a special nephew, Ronnie (Terry) Gamble, of Charlottetown. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by a sister, Reta Gamble, and by an infant brother, Lloyd.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Saturday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Sunday afternoon from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Lynn McKinnon officiating. Interment in the Cascumpec United Church Cemetery.
