Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Saturday, June 24, 2017, with her loving family by her side, of Doris Ann Dunn, beloved wife of the late Louis William Dunn, of the Rev. W. J. Phillips Residence, Alberton, and formerly of Elmsdale, age 87 years. Born at Brockton, PEI, on September 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary E. (nee O'Connor) Griffin.

Lovingly remembered by her children, Sheila (Leonard) Gallant, of Miscouche, Roger (Linda), of Elmsdale, Norma (Brian) Ellis, of Summerside, Linda (Jim) McCarthy, of Elmsdale, Kevin (Kelly), of St. Eleanors, and Keir (Coleen), of Foxley River. She will be sadly missed by her 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Dear sister to, Clarence (Wilma), of Brockton, Noreen (late Sterling) Jeffery, of Alberton, Leigh (Elsie), of Cape Wolfe, Rosalie (late Reginald) McCarthy, of Hamilton, Ont., and Marie (Clarence) Keefe, of Ascension. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Rita Dunn and Lorraine Dunn of Elmsdale, and by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Edgar Gallant, and by brothers, Wilfred (late Marie) Griffin and Emmett (late Phyllis) Griffin.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass Friday morning, June 30th,10:30 a.m., from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, Rev. Eric Dunn (nephew), Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
