Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, with her loving family by her side, of Janice Marie (Jan) Oliver, beloved wife of Wendell Oliver of Alberton, age 74 years. Born at Alberton on January 8, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Freda (nee Barnett) Jeffery.

Loving mother to John (Michelle), of Alberton, Wendy (Brian Hutt), of Northport, and Robin (John) Profit, of Alberton. Cherished grandmother to Dallas and Dakota Oliver and Presley Profit. Step-grandmother to Brody (Katie) Hutt and Tiffany (Kevin) Bernard. Great-grandmother to: Kolby, Kameryn, Kenzie, Autumn, Serenity and Clare. Dear sister to Jerry (Josie) Jeffery, of Alberton.

Dear niece of Lois Gavin of Alberton, Wilbert and Verna Jeffery, of Alberton, Eileen Greene, of Summerside, Mabel Barnett, of Summerside, and Gladys Grant of Scarborough Ont. She is also survived by her many cousins.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. No visiting hours by personal request. Funeral Sunday afternoon from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Lynn McKinnon and Rev. Sheila McCrea-MacCallum officiating. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton.
