Eleanor Margaret Fraser

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with her loving family by her side, Saturday, April 1, 2017, of Eleanor Margaret Fraser, of Northport, age 84 years. Born at Alberton, June 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Denzil and Mary (Burke) Smith. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wilbur J. Fraser, and her second husband, Clair A. Matthews.

Lovingingly remembered by her children, Karen Fraser, of Fairview, PEI, Kevin (Karen Denise), of Charlottetown, Allan (Mary Lou), of Kensington. Loving grandmother of Jason Ellsworth (Sandi), of West Covehead, Kyle Ellsworth, of Summerside, Amanda (Blair) Cobb, of Hunter River, Tammy Fraser (Dale), of Miscouche, Bryan Fraser, of Charlottetown, Alyssa (Haig) Pinsent, of Charlottetown, and Kayla Fraser (Keaton), of Edmonton. Great-grandmother to Nolan, Ryder, Payton, Andre, Abigail, Freya and Haig.

Dear sister of Fred (Marlene) Smith, of Ontario, Eric (Bonnie) Smith, of Ontario, and Blanche (late Erskine) Millman, of Dartmouth. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. Predeceased by a son Wayne, sister, Lottie Mallett, and by brothers, James and Ron Smith.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday morning from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Lynn McKinnon officiating. Interment later at Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton.

Everyone is invited to the Northport Community Centre for a reception following the funeral.
