At the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Monday, December 26, 2016, of Francis Joseph (Frank) Richard, formerly of St. Felix, age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Cecilia (nee McCue) Richard, who predeceased him in December 2005. Born at Tignish, P.E.I., on July 7, 1932, he was the son of the late Adrain and Margaret Ann (nee DesRoches) Richard.

Dear father to James (Debbie) of Moncton, N.B., Peggy (Craig) MacDonald of Port Hope, Ont., and Cathy Richard of Mississauga, Ont. Cherished grandfather to Joshua Richard-Munro, Shane and Casey MacDonald, Jordon and Elyse Richard. Dear brother to: Edith Perry of Tignish, Reginald Richard of Scarborough, Ont., and John (Hazel) Richard of Summerside. He will be sadly missed by his dear friend Esther LeClair and her family.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Friday, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant.
