At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Sunday December 18, 2016, with her loving family by her side, of Patricia Josephine (Patsy) Butler of Alberton, and formerly of Miminegash, age 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Frederick William Butler. Born at Charlottetown on January 18, 1938, she was the duaghter of the late Robert and Josephine (nee Gallant) Arsenault.

Loving mother to Joyce Anne (Jacques) Marcotte of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother to Jessica (Jeremy) of Ottawa, Ont., and Joshua (Kayla) of Ottawa, Ont., and great-grandmother to Jayla Anne.

Dear sister to Robert (Margaret) Arsenault, David (Faye) Arsenault and Linda Arsenault,  all of Charlottetown, and Gail (Harvey) Butler of Cornor Brook, NFLD.

She was predeceased by a sister Gloria, and by brothers, Robert, in infancy, Ivan and Ian. She was also predeceased by special friend Richard Handrahan.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday afternoon from the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Church cemetery.
