Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, with his loving family by his side, of William Kenneth Campbell, beloved husband to Stella Isabel (nee MacNevin) Campbell of Alberton and formerly of Union, age 85 years. Born at Union, P.E.I. on May 27, 1931, he was the son of the late Keir and Eliza (nee Haywood) Campbell.

Loving father to Irwin (Donna) of O'Leary, Roger (Late Annette) of Union, and Gary (Jessica) of Union. Cherished grandfather to Jennifer (Ted) Correa of NFLD, Tanya (Jonathan) Nace of Tennessee, Stephanie of Saskatchewan, Gregory (Sara) of Union, Jeffery (Becca) of Union, Nathan (Hannah) of Ottawa, Ont., and Alex of Union. Great-grandfather to Aiden, Harlee of Union and Chandler of Tennessee.

Dear brother to Jean Johnston of Alberton and Bessie Horne of Rhode Island. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Sidney Hardy of Alberton, Erskine MacMillan of Union, Peggy Campbell of Ontario, Joyce (Eldon) Hardy of Cascumpec, and Allison (Evelyn) MacNevin of Cascumpec.

He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Annette Campbell, and by siblings, Robert (late Georgie), Fred, Ross (late Lucille), Carrie (late Elmer), Matthews, Eleanor Hardy, and Marion MacMillan, father and mother-in-law, Rustin and Margaret (nee Murray) bMacNevin, and sister-in-law, Doris Smith.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton, for visiting hours Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral on Saturday from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel for funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Sheila McCrea-MacCallum officiating, assisted by Rev. Mike and Betty Zita, and Rev. Lynn McKinnon. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Alberton.
