The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Monday September 5, 2016, of Cyril Joseph Arsenault, formerly of Tignish, age 88 years. Beloved husband to Vinnie (nee Myers) Arsenault. Born at Alberton on October 12, 1927, he was the son of the late Joseph T. and Marie Antoinette (nee Arsenault) Arsenault.

Lovingly remembered by his children: Donald of Tignish; Daniel (Susan) of Toronto; Thimothy (Alma) of Red Deer, Alberta; Debbie (Roger) Arsenault of Calgary; Noella (Lorne) McDonald of Tignish; and James (Tracey) of Tignish. He will be sadly missed by his eight grandchildren, Rory, Shane, Calvin, Erica, Michael, Josh, Kelly and Ashtin. He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren, Lila Mae, Marcus, Tatum and Legend. He is also survived by brothers, LeRoy (Milda) Arsenault of Summerside, and Stewart (Thelma) Arsenault of Scarborough, Ontario. He was predeceased by a brother, Reginald and by a sister, Jean.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No visitation by personal request. Funeral mass Thursday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
