Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, of Joseph Carl Doyle, beloved husband to Jean (nee Arsenault) Doyle of Christophers Cross, age 70 years. Born on April 24, 1946, he was the son of the late Herman and Ethel (nee Gallant) Doyle.

Loving father to Pamela Doyle (Doug Costain) of Summerside; Shelley Doyle (Kalvin Burton) of Cornwall; Cindy Doyle (Matthew Barbour) of Bloomfield; Michael (Katie) Doyle of Brookfield, N.S.; and Shannon Doyle of Cornwall. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jessie Barbour, Rayah Barbour, Carly Doyle and William Doyle. Dear brother to Frances (Leonard) Bernard of Nail Pond.

He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Eileen (Mervyn) Ellis of Donaldston Reynold (Connie) Arsenault of Bedford, P.E.I.; Audrey (Stewart) Kelly of Tignish; Cheryl (Lenwood) Roach of Upper Tantallon, N.S.; Justin (Karen) Arsenault of Donaldston; Christine (Stephen) Wiswell of Enfield, N.S., and Stewart Ridler of Summerside.

He was predeceased by a sister Gerarda Ridler.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
