At the Rev. W. J. Phillips Residence, Alberton, on Friday, July 1, 2016, of Lorna Teresa Shaw of Alberton, age 73 years. Born at O'Leary, P.E.I. on March 24, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Lorne K. and Winnifred (nee Reilly) Shaw. 

Loving mother to Cynthia (John) Taylor of Salisbury, N.B., and Mary-Lynn Monaghan of Tignish. Cherished Grammie to Jenna Marie Rix, Jacob James Rix, Emma Jane MacPhee, Nicholas Hoben. Dear sister to Keith (Shirley) Shaw of Hamilton, Ont., Audrey (late George) Vey of Orono, Ont., Phyllis (Dan) MacDonald of Charlottetown, Barbara (Leo) MacDonald of O'Leary, Mary (Stewart) Gillcash of Glenwood, and Arlene (Eddison) Dyment of Saint John, N.B. She will be sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No visiting hours by personal request. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Mark's Church, Burton, Lot 7, on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, celebrant. Interment will  take place in St. Mark's Cemetery.
