Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday, April 22, 2016, of Joyce Mary Chaisson, of Harper Road, age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Chaisson. Born March 24, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Margaret (nee Gallant) McCue.

Dear mother to Darrell (Crystal), of Harper Road, and Debbie (Adrian) McMillan, of Clyde River,P.E.I. Cherished grandmother to Marcus, Montana, Jaylyn and Cruz Chaisson, Paige and Emma McMillan. Dear sister to Stephen (Linda) McCue of St. Louis. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Peter Chaisson, of Tignish, and by sister-in-law, Irene (Aucoin) Arsenault, of Summerside.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
