Peacefully at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Thursday, February 11, 2016, with her loving family by her side, of Linda Eileen Larter, of Alberton, age 66 years. Born in Alberton, on October 24, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edward Ernest and Frances Catherine (nee A'Hearn) Larter.

Lovingly remembered by her siblings, Mary (late Adam) Melnychuk, of Saskatoon, SK, Frances (Sonny) Tremblay, of Alberton, Anne (John) Weeks, of Alberton, Stephanie (late Armand) Gaudet of Alberton, Peter (Cynthia) Larter, of Cascumpec, and Robbie Larter (Rachael Roy), of Charlottetown. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Larter, of Summerside. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Michael Larter and Norman (late Ellen) Larter.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday morning from the Sacred Heart Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald, Celebrant. Interment later in the Church cemetery.
