Peacefully at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, with his loving family by his side, of Lorne Gerald Shaw, beloved husband to Thelma (nee Ramsay) Shaw of O'Leary and formerly of Campbellton, age 94 years. Born at O'Leary on March 6,1921, he was the son of the late Augustus and Louise (nee Coughlin) Shaw.

Loving father to Shirley (late Wendell) Wallace of Alberton, Lorna (Ronald) Costain of Campbellton, Janice Shaw (Elmer Collicutt) of Campbellton, Ronald (Tammy Hood) of Edmonton, Merritt (Lorraine) of Borden. He will be sadly missed by his 18 grandchildren, his 32 great-grandchildren and by his 11 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Olive Ramsay, Ruth Shaw and Ruby Gillis. He was predeceased by a daughter, Ruby Beverley, and sons, Leith and Brian. He was also predeceased by his grandson Dustin Clements, son-in-law, Wendell Wallace, and by siblings, Garfield, Jack, Uttley, Avard, Wilfred, Bayfield, Gordon, Holden, Perley, Kenneth, Vera Ramsay, Annie Thomson and Jean Farrer.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., Pastor Jeff Price and Pastor Sheila McCrea-MacCallum officiating. Interment in the Campbellton United Church Cemetery.

Visiting hours Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, the Campbellton United Church Cemetery Fund, or to the O'Leary New Life Worship Centre Building Fund, would be gratefully appreciated.
