At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Sunday, September 20, 2015, with her family by her side, of Faye Mary McNeill, of Alberton, age 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Stephen McNeill. Born on March 8, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Everett John and Mary Irene nee (Haywood) Powers. Loving mother to Gerald McNeill and Stephen (Sherri) McNeill of Alberton. Cherished grandmother to Vanessa, Justina, Kiana, Selina, Ryan (Jennifer), Tyler (Melissa), Daniel  (Sammie-Joe)and Courtney (Kyle). She will be sadly missed by her nine great-grandchildren and by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Dear sister to Mary (late Vance) McNeill, of Alberton, Theresa (Merrill) Arsenault, of Alberton, Noreen (late Lester) Gavin, of Tignish, Jamie Powers and Jarvis Powers of Alberton. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Olga Rodgerson of Charlottetown. She was predeceased by a daughter Barbara Deziel, and by brothers, David and Carl Powers, and by her niece, Marla McNeill.

Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. No visiting hours or funeral service by personal request. A committal service for family and friends will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Alberton, on Friday Sept.25, at  10;30 a.m., Rev. Andrew MacDonald officiating. If so desired, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
