At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Saturday, January 28, 2012, of Clare Belle Lewis of the Maplewood Manor, Alberton and formerly of Union, age 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Earl Lewis. Born at Woodvale, P.E.I., on August 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Beatrice (nee Simmonds) Vincent. She is survived by one brother and two sisters: Kier (Mary) Vincent of Woodvale; Doris (late Hubert) MacNevin of St. Eleanor's; Gladys (late Gordon) Plant of Dartmouth, N.S. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Elmer (Betty) Lewis of Union; Allan (Ruth) Lewis of St. Eleanor's; and Alfred Lewis of Summerside. Lovingly remembered by her special niece, Kelly Vincent, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral will be held on Monday, January 28th at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Andrew Mortimer officiating.
